What is the Gospel?
Good news for you.
Good news for the world.
Good news worth sharing.
Take a few minutes to hear the message at the center of the Christian faith. Then tell us where you stand.
The Gospel is…
Good News.
Not another religion.
Not another self-improvement program.
Not another way to earn God's approval.
The message of what Jesus Christ has done for us.
He died.
He was buried.
He rose again.
1 Corinthians 15:3–4
Why does that matter?

Before anything else…
There was God.
God created everything.
And what He created was good.
Including you.
Created by God.
Created for God.
Created to know God.
Genesis 1:26–31
Something went wrong.
Humanity rebelled against God.
The Bible calls that rebellion sin.
Sin is more than making mistakes.
It is our failure to trust, honor, and obey the God who created us.
“All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.”
Romans 3:23
Sin separated us from God.
We could not repair what we had broken.
We could not earn our way back.
We could not save ourselves.
But God did not abandon us.
God's rescue plan wasn't something.
It was someone.
Jesus Christ.
God entered His own creation.
Jesus became truly human without ceasing to be truly God.
He lived the life we failed to live.
He loved perfectly. He obeyed perfectly. He remained completely faithful to God.
John 1:14
And then…
He went to the cross.

He died for us.
The innocent stood in the place of the guilty.
The debt we could not pay was paid for us.
The judgment our sin deserved fell upon Christ.
“While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.”
Romans 5:8
It is finished.
Try harder.
Become religious enough.
Fix yourself first.
Earn God's approval.
Jesus did for you what you could never do for yourself.
You cannot earn what God has given.
Salvation is a gift.
You cannot purchase it. You cannot achieve it.
You cannot become good enough to deserve it.
If we could save ourselves,
we wouldn't need a Savior.
But we can't.
So Jesus came.
Ephesians 2:8–9
The Gospel or Nothing.
We aren't claiming that we found a better way.
We're announcing that God made a way.

He was buried.
Jesus didn't merely suffer. He died.
His body was placed in a tomb.
His followers believed it was over. Their Teacher was dead. Their hopes appeared buried with Him.
But the Gospel doesn't end at a grave.

On the third day…
The tomb was empty.
Jesus Christ is alive.
Not merely remembered.
Not merely alive in the hearts of His followers.
Risen.
The grave could not hold Him.
1 Corinthians 15:3–8
Death does not get the final word.
The resurrection changes everything.
Sin does not get the final word.
Death does not get the final word.
Your past does not get the final word.
Your failures do not get the final word.
Jesus does.
The Gospel isn't simply information to understand.
It is good news to believe.
So how do you respond?
Grace saves. Faith receives. Works reveal.
Grace saves.
Salvation begins with what God has done, not what you have done.
Faith receives.
Place your trust in Jesus Christ and what He has accomplished.
Works reveal.
Good works do not purchase salvation. They reveal a life being changed by it.
Ephesians 2:8–10
Romans 10:9
We aren't saved by good works.
We are saved for good works.
Jesus makes us new.
Jesus did not come merely to improve the old you.
He came to give you new life.
“If anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation.”
2 Corinthians 5:17
New desires.
New direction.
New allegiance.
New life.
This isn't the finish line.
It's the beginning.
Now the question is personal.
Do you believe?
Jesus died for our sins. He was buried. He rose again.
And He offers forgiveness and new life.
Where do you stand?
Want to talk about it?
Leave your details and someone will follow up with you.

Good news is worth sharing.
Someone told someone.
Who told someone.
Who told someone.
And eventually… someone told you.
Don't let it stop with you.
You don't need every answer. You don't need a theology degree.
You just need to be willing to tell someone what Jesus has done.
The Gospel reached you. Now help it reach someone else.

Good news for you.
Good news for the world.
Good news worth sharing.
